Radiohead were supposed to deny selling their tracks on iTunes, till now! But this changed on last Tuesday! Though in the past Radiohead didn’t allow EMI to sell their back catalog through iTunes, they decided to change their stance. Since last Tuesday Radiohead agreed with EMI to offer all of their songs from the EMI era (1993-2003) in iTunes. Many would say that this change is a result of the huge success of the In Rainbows Tracks sales through iTunes.
According to Nielsen Soundscan almost 178000 individual tracks of In Rainbows are sold through Amazon or other only retailers in addition to 106000 digital copies of In Rainbows while almost 420000 CD copies were sold.
