I preferred the first version to be honest, with the 'fear is a weapon' bit, I went to see them at the LCCC in manchester but sadly he didnt play it which left me gutted, I think this new song is one of Thom's paranoias about the new hadron particle accelerator that is being turned on soon in France/Switzerland which is going to smash particles together and reveal a lot of secrets about the origins of the universe, and theres some scary things being theorized, like it could create a blackhole, and I think this song is about Thom's concerns over this, he could write a song about absolutely anything, the greatest living song writer/voice/band of today and maybe of all time, unbelievable. Because if you watch the 2nd vid, Thom says that he got the words wrong the first time he played the song ... so I'm guessing the lyrics from the 2nd video are the correct ones ...
