what a show!!!!!!
my favourite bit was thom's dancing during everything in its right place
I don't understand the comment at the top of the page
why is dancing and having a good time at a gig by the best band in the world such a bad thing? I loved singing then into an encore.
also did anyone else find it weird that during the "rain down" bit in paranoid android it wasn't raining whereas the rest of set was showered brilliantly?

i was sometimes singing along (albeit quietly) and dancing when it seemed appropriate to in a way that didn't involve pushing other people about... in other words, i had great fun! am i a "meathead jock"? frankly i think a bit of jostling about and tuneless singing along is par for the course at such a massive gig.
IMO it was an excellent setlist, i really couldn't have wished for much more

Glitler.... us meathead Jocks are Scottish and incase you hadn't noticed Radiohead were playing in Scotland. If you don't like us then pissoff back to wherever you came from. The gig was amazing. The rain, Neds, Umbrellas, pushing, etc. didn't matter.

- some audio mementos of the night for those who went. Crap quality but they trigger the synapses for me anyway - great gig!!
Came to it with a fresh pair of lugs, my first RH gig & thank goodness for that, listening to the jaded followers around the boards. Sure, there were arseholes who didn't even know who they'd gone to see. Sure, we were caressed by a West coast wash. Sure there were selfish bastards with brollies who obscured the view. Poseurs, pissheads and other pissants. But the AV experience was top class!! I wasn't in the middle at the front, yet I danced & grooved about no probs. I'd almost no queue to get in, arrived about 6-ish, had a coffee with my pal at Tollcross & waited for the crowds to die down a bit. We found a spot on the RH side of the stage, near the wheelchair viewing platform, where we'd a good view of the stage (until the brollies went up, at least!! Incidentally, was disgusted to see one C**T standing right in front of the viewing platform with large umbrella side up, blocking view of those least able to move. What a TWAT.). Not too keen on BFL, Bjork-like but doesn't hit the spot for me I'm afraid. OK I s'pose (drum start to the last sounded like "Be My Baby"). RH tho' were BOSS!! I've seen quite a few bands in various venues/locations now, and this was up with the best. 2+2=5 blew me away - no chemical high, but I felt like I was at 30 000 feet & my friend the same - just about down now, 2 days later, but still lug2lug thinking back :-)
Walked back to Queen Street & train was just about to leave for Falkirk, we'd bought return tickets so nae bother, seats all the way home & can't complain. A bit damp, but elated & it didn't matter - was worth it for "Rain down, rain down...." etc.
Enjoy the sounds people!!

this was my first time seeing radiohead live and i was scared that ,after seeing prior setlists on the tour, id be left craving more. This was'nt the case. I think the whole crowd was just as surprised to hear no surprises as i was. A phenomonal gig, the highlight being karma police or 2+2=5. I just hope they dont go into hiding for another 4 years
