			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It is not a surprise that <strong>Radiohead - In R</strong><strong>ainbows</strong> is one of the strongest nominees for the <strong>Mercury prize</strong>. 12 albums created in 2007 were chosen from an indepedent panel.</p>
<p>The chairman of the Judges, <strong>Simon Frith</strong> said: "<em>What is most striking is the continued resilience and flexibility of the album as a way of organizing music-making,</em>" and he added "<em>It remains an unrivalled source of musical invention and imagination, a way of linking songs, exploring themes and developing sounds.</em>"<br />

<strong>Radiohead' In Rainbows</strong> will face <strong>Led Zeppelin</strong> former perfromer <strong>Robert Plant</strong>'s Raising Sand,  <strong>British Sea Power</strong>, <strong>Elbow</strong> and much more great british artists. The winner will be announcedl live in BBC 2 on September 9</p>
