While talking to Gigwise he also said that Elbow couldn't exist with Radiohead! He also added that Hail to the Thief was his favorite album, while his love for Radiohead begun on 1995's The Bends! Besides, Pete Turner, the bassist of Elbow seems to agree with Harvey!

"I think they’re a terrific band - there'd be no Elbow without Radiohead", "We don’t have to discuss how good they are,". Besides he added: "They’ve really took me with 'em as well, from The Bends right the way through",  "I would say until Hail To The Thief every album astonished me, like, that literally floored me. Literally. I'm lying there, astonished, unable to breathe."
