Radiohead Back In the Studio

Back in November of 2008 we told you that Radiohead were planning their next album. Well now it’s been confirmed by Colin Greenwood through the BBC that the boys are back in the studio working on the new ‘Eighth’ album.

I must say that it’s exciting news and if you get chance visit the BBC link above to read a question/answer session with Colin himself. Let’s hope the boys produce, they have a lot to live up to after In Rainbows, which was one of the most acclaimed albums of 2007..

Radiohead Shines And Wins Grammy Awards

Before the televised part of the Grammys started, Radiohead won two grammy awards for their album In Rainbows. The awards were for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Album and Best Alternative Music Album.

The British dominated the Grammys this year with Coldplay taking three awards and Robert Plant (former Led Zepplin frontman) receiving five awards, including Album Of The Year.

Radiohead Signed Remix Of Videotape On Charity Auction

Radiohead has remixed its song Videotape from their In Rainbows album. There is only one limited edition copy available, which has been signed by all five members of the band, and placed on auction to raise money for the charity Missing People.

The remix song appears on a four-hour VHS video which was created by James Rutledge (listed in NME Future 50).

It’s a great opportunity to own  a signed piece of Radiohead memorabilia and at the same time help out a charity.
