Radiohead has received four grammy nominations in the categories: Album Of The Year for In Rainbows, Best Alternative Music Album for In Rainbows, Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group for House Of Cards and Best Rock Song for House of Cards.
The album of the year category has a solid group of nominees this year which includes Lil Wayne, Coldplay, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Radiohead and Ne-Yo. It is somewhat of a surprise for Radiohead to be nominated considering they attempted to turn the music industry upside down with their initial “pay what you want or not” download release of their album In Rainbows.
It is significant that the music industry has acknowledged their efforts with their latest album In Rainbows and hopefully they will walk away with a grammy (or four).
