The fourt show of the first leg of Radiohead North American Tour took place in Charlotte, North Carolina at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.
According to AtEase the best soundchecked many songs including Sail to the Moon (for first time), Jigsaw Falling into place (this is good news), Myxomatosis (for first time)! The gig was about to start on 20.45. Radiohead had a slightly different setlist. They played for first time in this tour Sail To The Moon, Myxomatosis, Planet Telex and Go Slowly, but still no Jigsaw. Besides they played Paranoid Android for a second time and i suppose that the finale with Paranoid Android and Reckoner was the best finale till now! Here is the Charlotte set list:

Theories for Radiohead snubbing Detroit

Lot of conversation has done for the reasons Radiohead won’t play at Detroit in their north american tour! It is 10 years since Radiohead last played in Detroit, though Detroit is one of the American cities where popularity of Radiohead is really high! After three american tours where Radiohead didn’t visit Detroit, everyone expected that the band would have a show there.. and this creates many rumours and speculations for the reason that this happens!

The complains are strong because the band will visit Cleveland and Indianapolis but not Detroit. The band had sold 16000 copies of HTTT in Detroit but only 8000 in Indiana and 6000 in Cleveland. Detroit is the 13th best market for Radiohead! But this wasn’t enough to convince them visit Detroit!
There are many theories why this happens! One says that the band had a equipment theft experiance in Detroit in their 1997 show. Another says that the the band sensibilities were hurt during their previous gig to Detroit, so they decided to erase Detroit from their future plans. But noone knows which is the true!
The only solution for Detroit fans? Just have a trip to a nearby city to enjoy Radiohead.. if i were you, that is what i would do!
